Asunto: the person
Hola ragazza — beautiful fall day here in DC , crisp, crisp, crisp.
I’m heading to a museum now, the National Portrait Gallery.
And I had a question I’ve been chewing on: have you found your person in him?
Obviously, you two are life partners, raising a family together.
But I’m asking more so in that if he is the person that matches you completely.
I want to be super clear why I’m asking, to do away with any strangeness this might induce: I’ve been struggling to find people that I feel as connected/as well matched as I was with you, and so I am curious how you feel, now that you are fully committed with a life and a beautiful baby.
I’m not asking b/c I want to be sneaky or ask anything like that, but more so because I want to know if you found someone that you feel matches you as well or better than we matched —sort of as motivation for me to find that person for me! [209]
He’s not my person; he’s home». [211] Él es casa.
