CHAPTER 12

“How did she react when she found out we knew about her kink?” Jeff asked his wife as they sat on the living room couch. He was having a cup of tea, and Diana was sipping a glass of white wine.

“She was embarrassed, of course,” Diana said. “But I’m willing to bet that by now she’s gotten over it. She’s too thrilled by what’s going on to even care.”

“Do you think we should go check on her?”

Diana waved a hand. “Nah. I’m sure she’s managing just fine. Let’s leave her alone.”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. I’m so glad we’re doing this for her, honey. She’s earned it.”

“You did make sure the street was empty when you brought him here, right?”

Jeff let out a soft sigh, a smile playing on his lips. “Relax, honey, I was extremely careful. There was no one in the street.”

“No cameras either,” Diana said, not as a question, she just wanted to hear him say it again.

“No cameras either, I know that for a fact.” Thanks to contacts, he knew the location of all public surveillance cameras in Parnell. “Will you relax, Diana?”

“I am relaxed, darling. Just…you know…it’s the first time we’re doing something like this.

” She took another sip of the expensive wine and let out a relaxed sigh, her life as a housewife allowing her to live without stress, living off her husband’s wealth.

“God, this is a good wine. Frenchmen can be irritating chauvinists, but they do have some excellent wine, I’ll give them that. ”

Jeff giggled. “I prefer their cheese. But anyway, trust me, honey, there’s nothing to worry about. When the cops start looking for that asshole, they’ll find nothing that can trace him back to us.”

A tender, loving smile bloomed on Diana’s face as she looked at him. “I trust you, darling. I always have. And I’m so glad we can give our daughter what she needs.”

He offered her a knowing smirk. “What she needs? Or what she wants?”

“I’d say that, in this case, it’s both. Yeah, it turns her on. But it’s also something she needs to feel better. Her dignity has been undermined, after all.”

“It has,” Jeff agreed. “Undermined by that scumbag, no less.”

“That’s right.”

Jeff pondered for a moment, then said, “I’ve always given our daughter everything she’s wanted. I’ve made a point of it. Some might say I’ve spoiled her.”

Diana snorted. “The people who say that are losers. They’re jealous. If they’re having trouble paying the bills, it’s not our fault. It’s because they’re lazy. This is America. If they want to make more money, they’ve got to wake the fuck up and work harder.”

“True, true. But let’s not stray from the point. They might say I’ve spoiled her, and maybe they’re right. But let me ask you this: has our indulging Alisa affected her in any way?”

“Absolutely not.”

“Right. Quite the opposite. She’s a brilliant woman.

She’s studying at one of the most prestigious universities in the country, and she’s getting terrific grades.

The best in her class, no less. Okay, so sometimes she needs a small nudge because she’s not motivated enough…

but that’s normal at her age. When she finishes her degree and lands a position in an elite firm, she’ll thank us. ”

“She better,” Diana said.

Ignoring her, Jeff went on, “I’ve always given her everything she’s wanted. And if punishing that guy for the rest of his life because he hurt her feelings is going to help her feel better, I’m sure as hell going to provide her with the means to do it. She deserves it.”

Diana nodded. She shifted her eyes for a second, thinking. “I do hope she finds a husband soon, though.”

Jeff raised a finger. “Not just any husband, though.”

“God, no. It has to be the right one. A submissive one. One that will always do what she says. She needs a…shit, I know it’s harsh, but she needs someone that behaves like a slave.”

Jeff nodded as his lips morphed into a sinister smile. “She’ll find one. I have no doubt.”

Diana rested her head on the backrest and closed her eyes. “I hope you’re right.”

“She will, you’ll see. It’s just a matter of time. In the meantime, let’s let her have some fun with that sucker.”
